Featured Projects
Quality Control Measures for Pristine Surface Coating
Surface Inspection
Before applying the surface coating, we thoroughly inspect the base to ensure it's clean, dry, and free of any debris or contaminants that could interfere with the coating application.
Flood Testing
We conduct flood tests on the base to confirm it is at the ideal level for the color coating application. This step allows us to patch any potential puddles or bird baths before the color is applied.
Weather Monitoring
Our team closely monitors weather conditions to avoid coating application during high humidity, rain, or other conditions that could lead to an inferior surface result.
Application Technique
We use industry standard application techniques and equipment to ensure an even and consistent coating. Our team applies the coating in optimal conditions to minimize the risk of contamination.
Layering Process
In between every resurfacer and color coat, the area is cleared of debris and any imperfections or bumps are manually scraped off. This ensures a flat and smooth surface before the next application.
Drying Time
Proper drying and curing times are essential. We allow sufficient time for each layer to dry completely before applying the next, reducing the chances of bubbling, cracking, and uneven layers.
Final Inspection
After the court is complete, we conduct a detailed inspection to check for any imperfections in the surface, paint and lines.
Customer Satisfaction
We perform a final walk-through with the client to ensure they are satisfied with the surface quality and finished product.
Questions About Courts?
After the first two surface coats, a water test will be performed. During this test the court will get flooded and observed for proper drainage. At this point, any standing water will be seen and every spot that holds water deeper than the thickness of a nickel will be patched and resurfaced. This test will be repeated until it passes inspection.
The construction timeline for a sports court varies based on the type of court and site conditions. We will provide you with a timeline estimate during your consultation, and as always we strive to complete projects with the utmost accuracy and timeliness.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning debris, checking for surface wear, and ensuring proper drainage. We recommend periodic professional inspections, and resurfacing every few years to keep the court in optimal condition and prolong its lifespan.
